After intently observing how our doctors have been using PPD TEXT and asking ourselves how we can improve this service to make it easier to use, we have come up with revised messages that will make access to drug information faster and more convenient for both regular and non-regular users. The result is:
PPD TEXT Version 2.0
First, we grouped the frequently accessed information like indications, dosage, forms, packaging and price to enable access with just one text message. All you have to do is to text PPD brand and send to 2333 for Globe and 283 for Smart.
Second, we grouped the warnings, i.e., contraindications, precautions, side-effects and drug interactions to enable access by just texting PPD W brand
And third, brands that have the same generic names can also be accessed by simply texting PPD generic name. This gives you a list of up to 10 randomly selected brands for you to choose from.
